Well, I'm having roast lamb and mint sauce out of the garden, thanks for asking. But that wasn't the original question.
Is there such a thing as Blog Nags? Surely that should be are there any such things as Blog Nags?
I assume that means horses who are past their useful lives, and spend their time writing uninteresting things on the internet that nobody wants to read.
I don't know about that. But I do have a friend, Simon, an old colleague of mine, whose family owned Desret Orchid. Funnily enough, it's now living in the field behind Andrea's, in retirement.
There is a "Nag's Blog", does that count? (http://www.nag-brooklyn.org/blog/2008/07/welcome-to-nags-blog.html). Not particularly exciting I guess you're in Brooklyn... :)
Blogs are strange things. For the extroverts and ego-centric? A response to peer pressure, keeping up with the kids? Do we really use them that often or are they because we think we should?
That's very interesting point that Anon makes about retired horses posting unintereseting comments on the internet that noboday wants to read.
However, I was just wondering how on earth they could do this, having as they do, big hooves and not fingers? I doubt they'd be able to hit the individual keys they would need to in order to form English words.
Perhaps they have modified keyboards?
Does anyone else have any horse-related anecdotes regarding their use, or not, of computer equipment?
That's a great discussion point. Unfortunately, apart from the one about my ex - who looks like a whorse (sorry, typo, blame the hooves) - being a blogger, I can't provide any more comments.
It's interesting what Anon has to say about the donkey eating an Apple Mac. But perhaps he (or she) is mistaken, and it was in fact a Big Mac. Or a McDonalds apple pie even - a McApple as we call them.

Yes. Or no. Who cares? Now what's everyone having for tea?

Honestly, it's true...

(Should people really use smiley faces in blogs)?

Over to someone else?
I might have something that helps Anon. It's not strictly about horses on computers, but in another sense it's precisely about horses on computers.
It's not an anecdote as such, more an observation:

and:

You might have to copy and paste this into your browser, whatever that is.
Hope this helps.
I think this is just taking the piss. Obviously Blog Nags has nothing to do with horses.
So please, be serious. This is a serious place for serious discussion about serious matters. Not horses on computers.
Has it maybe got something to do with Donkeys?
With regards to Anon's question (above), yes, I think it could have something to do with donkeys.
Last summer when we were on holiday in Blackpool, I was on the beach and could have sworn I saw a donkey eating an Apple Mac.
Oh, hang on a minute, maybe it was just an apple.
