Pressure mounts to phase out Internet Explorer 6

Many things live on past their use-by date, but few have shown the zombie-like tenacity of IE6. It has remained animated, chewing on our brains long after it should have stopped twitching.

Our own government is finally urging internet users and businesses to move away from using Microsofts very outdated IE6 browser and upgrade to a more modern and secure browser in light of the recent Gmail security breach that occurred as a result of the old browser platform.
